A Jumble Of Basic Film Plot Summaries

In the past you had to go to a store if you wanted to rent or buy a movie. These days you can stay at home and get movies form a movie download site. You can get virtually any movie you want with a good movie download site. Here are some examples.

Advance to the Rear: Throughout the Civil War, Northern cadets are sent to Western territory. Stevens as a spy and Blondell as a saucy worldly lady add flavor to this predictable dry comedy. Cast includes Glenn Ford, Stella Stevens, Melvyn Douglas, Joan Blondell, Jim Backus, and Andrew Prine. (1964-- Comedy- 97minutes)

Soylent Green: Well-intentioned however cardboard adaptation of Harry Harrison's chemistry-fiction classic Make Room! Make Room! In the year 2022, Manhattan has gotten to be an overcrowded hellhole. Cop Heston, while examining the murder of a bigwig, trips onto explosive government secret which you'll compute out long before he does. You know you're in trouble while Brooke Guards gives the funniest behavior in the film! Cast includes Charlton Heston, Edward G. Robinson, Leigh Taylor-Youthful, Get rid of Connors, Mike Henry, and Dick Minivan Patten. (100 minutes, 1973)

Vertical Limit: Peter Garett, an ex mountain climber who gave the sport up after his father died tragically while climbing, finds himself in a difficult situation. His sister and climbing partner have been trapped in a deep crevasse while attempting to climb the famous K2 peak. He is one of the only people capable of even attempting a near impossible rescue. Time is of the essence, as the trapped climbers will soon freeze to death.

Major League: The Cleveland Indians are just plain bad. This is by design, if the team has bad attendance, the owner can move the team to Miami. This team of misfits is about to surprise everyone.

Red River: One of the best American ventures is seriously a western Mutiny on the Bounty. Clift rejects the dominance of Wayne (radiant in an unsympathetic role) throughout a key livestock drive. Captivating photography by Russell Harlan is coupled with an exciting Dimitri Tiomkin score. A movie you need to see. If you don't pay close attention, you'll miss Shelley Winters dancing around a campfire. Cast includes John Wayne, Montgomery Clift, Walter Brennan, Joanne Dru, John Ireland, Noah Beery, Paul Fix, Coleen Gray, Chief Yowlachie, and Hank Worden. (133 minutes, 1948)

Halloween H2O: She has faked her own death and changed her name to get away from Michael Myers. Now, 20 years later, Laura Strode is a teacher at a private school. When most of the students leave on a trip, Laura stays, along with her son and her girlfriend. It is Halloween night, and you guessed in, Michael Myers has found Laura, and is coming after all of them.

Crystal Heart: Youthful guy who should live his life like the "boy in a bubble," restricted to a commanded atmosphere, creates a relation with a seductive stone singer with whom he's fallen in love long-distance. Soft, unsurprising trip with music video parts from Kitaen. Cast includes Tawny Kitaen, Lee Curreri, Lloyd Bochner, Simon Andreu, Might Heatherly, and Marina Saura. (102 minutes, 1987)

Sullivan's Travels: Sick of making fluff, film controller McCrea plans to do a "earnest' film; to analysis it, he sets out with 1O' in his compartment to experience .life in "the genuine planet." Dry and grief mix seamlessly sick this landmark Hollywood satire, which grows more relevant with each passing year. Cast includes Joel McCrea, Veronica Pool, Robert Warwick, William Demarest, Margaret Hayes, Al Bridge, and Franklin Pangborn. (90 minutes, 1942)

Days Of Thunder: Cole Trickle is a young, successful getting a shot at the big time in NASCAR. Amazingly, he knows almost nothing about cars. He needs to learn to communicate with crew chief Harry, or he will fail to succeed.
