Cool Places to Wear Your Hockey Jerseys and Support the NHL

By Doug McKenzie

The true hockey fans know that it is important to show our National Hockey League pride whenever possible. One of the best ways to show everyone just how much we love hockey is to wear our hockey jerseys as often as we can. Not only will wearing our jerseys around everywhere support the team we favor but it will also hopefully convert people to hockey fans by opening conversation and getting public interest involved.

Your hockey jerseys are symbols of your devotion to your favorite team and should be worn whenever possible but the main place they need to be worn is at the stadium when you go to watch your team play. You need to put it on before you leave the house so that as you're traveling to the stadium all of the pedestrians will know that you are a hockey fan and you support your team. Cheer loudly and cheer proudly while sitting in the stands with your hockey jersey on.

When you're out with your buddies having a few beers down at the local watering hole you are missing an ample opportunity to show your support for the National Hockey League if you aren't wearing your favorite hockey jersey. Bars are social atmospheres and that makes them great places to advertise so get to it! Wear your hockey jersey to every bar you go to, as long as you are drinking beer and talking about the sport no one will know that you're secretly trying to convert them to hockey fans.

If you're not out there playing hockey every day in your hockey jersey there is something wrong with you. Even if it is just a casual game of street hockey you should still put on one of your best hockey jerseys to skate with. Bring two hockey jerseys to every game, one light one and one dark one, so that you can make sure you will be able to distinguish everyone between teams. Hockey jerseys make the game more interesting and they make the game look more legitimate. Wear them when you can!

If you're not wearing your hockey jerseys around the house when you're lounging around or watching the game on television, you are a real disappointment to the hockey fan base. Your house is your inner sanctum and if you aren't proud enough to wear the jersey when no one else can see you then are definitely not proud enough to wear it out in public. Wear the jersey at all times, even to bed!

There are plenty of opportunities out there to wear your hockey jerseys and to show everyone how much of a sports fan you are. Get out there with your favorite team's jersey on your chest, better yet, wear one of the classic hockey jerseys of your favorite team to show how deep and how long your devotion goes. - 16887

Pool Table Light: Makes You See Through The Game

By Pamela Smith

In earlier years, pool or billiards was usually considered a game believed in a seedy under-lit pool halls infused in thick cigarette smoke with shady characters of all stripes betting on a languid parlor game. The movie, The Color of Money, which starred Tom Cruise and the late Paul Newman, whose role of a veteran pool shark won for him his only Academy acting award, confirmed in the mind of the public the dubitable nature of pool. You need to develop a skill to play pool and have plenty of light to play it properly. Hence, there is every reason to have a pool table light.

With its newfound respectability, pool is now featured in ESPN and the best players make hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes and more on product endorsements. You must have noticed that in the games played on TV, the pool halls where the sport is played are very well lighted, as if in an indoor basketball game at night.

A pool table light will serve to provide sufficient luminescence for the playing surface, the billiard balls, the cue stick, and everything involved in the game to be visible. They can also create an environment intensifying the playing experience and the surrounding adornments. Because of longstanding prejudices, many conceptualized that an old ceiling light fixture is adequate to illuminate the pool table and everything else on it.

But just liken in any work activity, a focused source of light along with the ambient lighting given off by flush-mount or semi-flush ceiling fixtures are needed. This will illuminate the playing surface better and maybe even improve play. The added balance to the subtle style of the decor is a bonus.

Direct and indirect lighting fixtures are two different matters entirely. An activity like pool which needs the use of additional lighting also needs direct luminescence. A blinding spotlight over the pool table is not required for this purpose, directly illumination on the playing surface that does not cause glare or eye strain is what is needed.

Typical lightings such hanging lamps or pendants are most suitable for pool tables. With the basic design of pool tables being long and narrow, the lights must match the design. A billiard lamp as long as a billiard table is desired, but pool tables usually measuring eight feet long, is not practical. A small light fixture over a pool table light blends well in this part of the game.

Just be sure that the light is at the center over the table. Players want see clearly the corner pockets in this game of angles. Shadows that smaller pool table light fixtures cause affect the outcome of the game, besides producing a gloomy atmosphere that harks back to the seedy period of this sport. - 16887

Review: The Best Online Slots

By George Carmichael

I am an online slots player. I love slots and am always searching for the best online slots out there. For me, the best online slots are loose, flashy and fun.

The best online slots have to run fast. I don't want to play at an online casino if I have to worry about its games freezing or glitches happening.

I have to know that the casino I'm playing at is reputable. It has to have a solid reputation and excellent customer service.

The best online casinos use one of two major software platforms. The platforms allow the games to run quickly and smoothly, and give the player the option to either to download the games to the player's pc, or to run their flash versions.

The best online slots casinos also offer their players nice bonuses! Right now, online casinos are offering several different bonuses to their players. One casino is offering an incredible $777 sign-up bonus! There is also a 400% bonus worth up to $2400 with no max cash-out!

In terms of variety and fun, the following is a list of the best online slots found at a few of the most popular online casinos.

Derby Dollars: Good old horse racing! Bets range from $0.20 to $100 per pull again --- huge potential! This one has a randomly awarded progressive jackpot too! Red Sands: This one is a blast! This one has a huge betting range from $0.20 to $100 per spin! Winning potential is HUGE! It also offers a randomly awarded PROGRESSIVE jackpot. Sevens and Stripes: This one is an oldie but goodie! Limits range from as little as $0.05 to as much as $5 per spin. The goal of Sevens and Stripes is line up matching symbols.

With time and research skills, anyone can learn to be a savvy player and learn which of the online casinos out there are the best at which to play!

Always know your limit and play within it! - 16887

Why Wear Snake Proof Boots?

By Harry Benjamin Watts

If snake protection is an issue, you should seriously consider a pair of snake proof boots. While hunters from swampy or marshy areas are probably already familiar with them, you might not know that snake boots are an option. Snake proof boots are designed by several different companies, but all of them are designed to protect you from getting bitten by any type of common venomous viper.

Snake boots haven't completely caught on with the mainstream fashion world yet, but hunters and hikers can already attest to their popularity. These particular pieces of footwear come in many different designs, and are great protection against any likely venomous snakes that you will run into.

While this article only covers three great reasons for looking at the possibility of using snake proof boots, there are many others beyond this. Still, to keep things easy these three general reasons are ones that virtually any consumer can relate to.

The first reason should be obvious. These boots offer specially designed protection against venomous snake bites of all kinds. Whether it's rattlesnake, coral snake, copperhead, or water moccasin " snake proof boots are designed to keep them all away from your skin.

A second reason to consider snake boots might be surprising at first glance. The financial savings that this footwear can bring you is incredible. Consider that an ER visit to treat a venomous snake bite in the U.S. will cost you up to twenty grand. That's right, twenty grand. And that's only assuming that there are no complications, which in over half of the cases there are. Wearing a good pair of snake proof boots could prevent that type of traumatic physical and financial trauma.

A third reasons for wearing snake boots is for the peace of mind. There are literally millions of people who have an outright phobia of snakes, but it's much easier to deal with tall weeds by the river when you know nothing can strike out and hit you. The lower leg protection offers that peace of mind which is worth just as much as the actual protection for many people.

Hopefully this article has pointed out several good reasons for looking at snake boots. These points span a wide range of topics that include the physical, mental, and even the seemingly unlikely financial. When all these arguments are combined, it's pretty obvious that there is a very good case for the viability of wearing snake proof boots for the protection that they provide.

In the end, the decision on whether or not to wear snake boots is up to you. At least with this article you now know that there are some great options in footwear when it comes to defending yourself from snake strikes. - 16887

Some Excellent Motion Picture Reviews

By Ross Ramos

If you arrived to see film reviews skip down to read them. To find a movie download site you need to do the right search. "Net Movie Downloads" or "Online Music Download Services" might get you a good result, if they don't, try "Best Movie Download Sites".

No Man of Her Own: Turgid drama based on Cornell Woolrich story of Stanwyck presuming another's identity, later being blackmailed by ex-boyfriend. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, John Lund, Jane Cowl, Phyllis Thaxter, and Richard Denning. (98 minutes, 1950)

Good Times: Back while the harmonizing twosome was still considered wacky, they made this entertaining little film, with Sonny day dreaming about their potential film roles and he and Cher harmonizing "I Got You Hottie." Cast includes Sonny and Cher, George Sanders, Norman Alden, and Larry Duran. (91 minutes, 1967)

The Day the Hot Line Got Hot: Weak try at espionage as spies mess up the Moscow Washington hot line, leading to global disaster. This was Robert Taylor's very last performance. Cast includes Robert Taylor, Charles Boyer, George Chakiris, Dominique Fabre, and Gerard Tichy. (92 minutes, 1969)

The Singing: Nun: Sappy comic book stuff based on an actual Belgian nun whose dedication is split between religious work and making hit records. Cast includes Debbie Reynolds, Ricardo Montalban, Greer Garson, Agnes Moorehead, Chad Everett, Katharine Ross, Ed Sullivan, Juanita Moore, and Tom Drake. (98 minutes, 1966)

The Fragile Delinquent: Jerry's first solo attempt after separating with Dean Martin has him as late who becomes a cop with McGavin's help. Cast Jerry Lewis, Martha Hyer, Darren McGavin, Horace McMahon, and Milton Frome. (100 minutes, 1957)

The Search for Signs of Inteligent Life in the Universe: This is a witty re-creation of Lily Tomlin's 1985 one female Broadway show. Her characterizations run the gamut from box woman to juvenile delinquent to New Age Lady, with much of the material in a feminist vein. The show stars Lily Tomlin obviously. (120 minutes, 1991)

The Shadow: Lamont Cranston, having lived a life of ethical degradation, is "reborn" as a single minded crime fighter with the talent to haze gentlemen's minds. This adaptation of the venerable mush novels and cherished stereo show (carried to the theaters before in the late 1930s, and in a 1940 serial comes frustratingly close to performing, although flounders. Cranston is both inscrutable and boring. Incredible production layout and wonderful outcomes get lost in a film that keeps the viewer at Ann's magnitude all the way through. What a waste of an awesome supporting cast! Cast includes Alec Baldwin, John Lone, Penelope Ann Miller, Peter Boyle, Ian McKellen, Tim Curry, Jonathan Winters, and Sab Shimono. (105 minutes, 1994)

Hail Mary: Uninteresting, overblown updating of the tale of Christ's birth, with Mary a student basketball competitor! Even though still a virgin, she finds herself pregnant. This film kindled much dissention and was even condemned by the Pope. Cast includes Myriem Roussel, Thierry Rode, Philippe Lacoste, Manon Anderson, and Juliette Binoche. (107minutes, 1985)

Rock My World: This is a pretty good comedy set in England (however shot and funded in Canada) that went directly to video in the U.S. although is far more involving than its theatrical destiny could show. We see an aristocratic British couple lease their mansion to a rock band and end up posing as the butler and chef while the misfit team ultimately shows up. Observing the interplay create between these extremely variant generations and lifestyles is fun and the music is surprisingly catchy. Cast includes Peter O'Toole, Joan Plowright, Alicia Silverstone, Jairnz Woolvett, Keram Malicki-Sanchez, Christopher Bolton, and Lochlyn Munro. (106 minutes, 2002)

I hope you enjoyed the reviews. Don't forget, search with terms like "Illegal Movie Download Sites" and "Online DVD Rentals" to find download sites. An additional search with "Movie To Download" might bring good results. - 16887

R-Bet Review

By Lee Marsden

In this roulette system review Im going to tell you about my experiences with a software based program called R-Bet. It is one of many software products on the internet designed to help you win at roulette.

The way that this software application works is you input the numbers that have come up in the previous spins and then it stores all of these numbers and then it tells you when to bet.

On receiving the product and installing it I noticed that it looked strangely familiar. The reason for this is because it looks pretty much identical to roulette software on the internet called roulette sniper.

Despite this I decided that just because it looks like roulette sniper does not mean that the system inside the software would be the same and after all the layout of roulette sniper and R-Bet is simple and easy to follow so it is understandable that it looks the same.

Unfortunately after about half an hour of playing it became clear that not only does R-Bet look like roulette sniper but the principals in which it tells you to bet are also the same. It tells you to bet on a dozen or a line when it hasnt shown for a pre determined amount of spins.

Then there is a price problem. Roulette sniper and R-Bet are virtually the same product however R-bet is $10 more expensive which just isnt justified.

I requested a full refund as I was very disappointed with the product, I went directly to Clickbank for the refund and within a business day they had issued the refund.

To sum up this roulette system review I do not believe that R-Bet would prove to be a good buy because it is more expensive than a product that is virtually identical to it and it applies a roulette system that doesnt win long term. - 16887

A Couple Of Quick Movie Synopses To Go Over

By Danny Mitchell

For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. As technologies have advanced, downloading dvds off movie download sites is becoming very common. You will find just about any movie you want with a good movie download site. Below is a small sample.

Above Suspicion: WWII is just starting. American newlyweds honeymooning in Europe are enlisted by the US government to carry out an espionage mission against the Nazis. Can the honeymooners succeed? Richard Thorpe. Joan Crawford, Fred MacMurray, Conrad Veidt, Basil Rathbone and others. (1943 Espionage)

Bugles in the Afternoon: Simple story of guy branded a coward (MilIand) throughout the Civil War, with a Little Bighorn finale. Cast includes Ray Milland, Forrest Tucker, George Reeves, Helena Carter, and Gertrude Michael. (85 minutes, 1952)

Mickey Blue Eyes: Alarmingly unfunny story based on the renowned nearsighted animation personality refreshed in the energized credits, with Greg Burson filling in for Jim Backus as the voice of Magoo. Nielsen does his best unconditionally, although the pointlessly difficult plot about the theft of a dear cherry just goes on and on. There are a tremendous amount of mean spirited characters for a kid's film. Cast includes Hugh Permit, James Caan, Jeanne Trippet, Leslie Nielsen, Jennifer Gamer, Malcolm McDowell, and Miguel Ferrer. (103 minutes, 1999)

Alaska: Adolescent venture on a grand scale, as a brother and sister take off looking for their dad and his downed plane. Structured like an old B movie melodrama, however implemented with conviction contrary to magnificent, snowy landscape and characterizing an irresistible polar bear who befriends the youngsters. Heston, whose child prompted the drama, plays a mean, cunning old man. Cast includes Thora Birch, Vincent Kartheiser, Dirk Benedict, Charlton Heston, Duncan Fraser, and Gordon Tootoosis. (110 minutes, 1996)

Hired-To-Kill: A Mercenary poses as a gay clothes maker to spring insurgent leader 'Ferrer' from a Latin American jail. His commando squad with six attractive ladies posing as models is impressive. Well generated, although awesomely stupid. Cast includes Nico Mastorakis, Peter Rader. Brian Thompson, Oliver Reed, George Kennedy, Jose Ferrer, Michelle Moffett, Barbara Lee Alexander, Jordana Capra, Kendall Conrad, Kim Lonsdale, Jude Mussetter, and Penelope Reed. (91 minutes, 1990)

Hannibal: It has been ten years since Hannibal had escaped. Mason Verger, Hannibal's sixth victim, a survivor, has obsessive revenge on his mind. His plot includes using agent Starling for bait. He feels Hannibal will not be able to resist.

Spungen: Director Cox accomplishes a masterful level of a documentary-reality. He then laces it with metaphorical fantasy icons, with striking outcomes. At the center of the film are two incredible performances by Goldman and Webb, who don't appear to be acting at all: They are Sid and Nancy. The movie is a downer, to be certain, however captivating. (105 minutes, 1969)

House on Haunted Hill: Zillionaire Cost offers group of individuals $100,000 each if they'll survive a night in spooky old mansion with a haunted history. Cast includes Vincent Cost, Carol Ohmart, Richard Long, Alan Marshal, Elisha Chef, Carolyn Craig, and Leona Anderson. (75 minutes, 1958)

House on 92nd Street: Arousing documentary style drama-based movie. It's about truth and orchestrated on true locations about FBI counterespionage exercises throughout WW2: Nazi representatives, operating in N.Y.C. try to steal part of the atom bomb secrets. Charles G. Booth made an Oscar for this story. Cast includes William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia Clair. (88 minutes, 1945)

For file downloads use a phrase like "Legal Movie Downloads". Try a different search if the first one does not provide good information. You should punch in "Rent Films Online" for another set of results. - 16887

Reasons to Try Fitness Equipment Leasing

By Tony Dana

If you are staring a new business such as a gym or a health & fitness club, you may want to take a look at the fitness equipment leasing option. Starting up these types of businesses can be expensive and you need to watch what you are spending. Due to the fact that you can lease various equipment, you will be able to save some of your capital but still ensure that you are providing the very best products for your own members.

It is normally the case that a new business will approach a bank for a business loan. Many people consider this to be the only available option. By trying fitness equipment leasing you can bypass having to ask the bank manager for that business loan. This way you can obtain the equipment that you want for your premises without having to compromise on quality or pay an inflated deposit. This method also means that you can pay affordable regular payments.

You may think that you cannot make use of this option if you have a bad credit rating or you surmise that you do not have enough money to benefit from this method. In fact, many of the leasing agents will still take your business in these circumstances and will readily ask you to apply. Filling in the necessary forms can be done speedily and easily on the internet.

There is normally a huge variety of equipment pieces to choose from and items such as weight benches, massage beds, hydrotherapy tubs and a treadmill machine, are all common purchases. You may find that there are many more pieces besides and all charged at a very affordable rate. The kit that you can get from the vendors is ordinarily new or nearly new; many top brands and models will be available for you to have for your club or gym.

You could opt for used commercial items such as a treadmill machine, but essentially, you want to provide the best for your club members. Many of the lenders will offer new equipment that comes with a warranty, which is passed onto you when you lease the machines. The average term of a lease is twelve months and in most cases you can pay the lease off early if you wish. Also choosing this option may mean that you get a deduction on tax.

The amount that you can borrow when considering fitness equipment leasing can be as little as $5,000 and as much as $200,000. Applications are generally processed within 2 days and it is possible that you can obtain the equipment from more than one vendor.

The main disadvantage of this kind of arrangement is that the lease cannot be cancelled in any way. If you have the lease for 12 months, then you have to keep the treadmill machine and other equipment for that whole 12 month period.

You will find much more information about fitness leasing equipment on the World Wide Web. Many of the vendors and agents that deal with this type of business have their own websites. This way you can browse the organizations to find the best deal for you as a new business. - 16887

Basic Guide To Hairstyling Ahd Hair Design

By Toni Moretti

Basic hairstyling and hair design can be as simple or as complicated as you make it. Even something as simple as putting your hair up into a pony tail can leave many options open. Should you put all of your hair up, should you pull hair down in the front to frame your face, and at what section should you tie the hair at?

If you have elected to leave your hair down for the day, you have many options taking this avenue as well. You could just let it air dry, however this tends to leave your hair looking a bit unmanaged. To avoid this, you should at least blow dry your hair after it has air dried for some time. After your hair has been dried, you may choose to straighten it. There are many brands of flattening irons and some do work better than others. To straighten your hair, just slide the iron from the top to the bottom. One may also curl their hair using a straightening iron by wrapping small strands around the barrel of the straightener. There is also the old fashion way of making your hair curly, which involves a curling iron. To use this tool, you should wrap small strands around the barrel and hold for a few seconds on each curl. Many companies have also come out with small curlers that one can heat up and then roll their hair. This requires less work and less time than a normal curling iron.

After basic hairstyling is decided, you may then move on to deciding on a design. This may be the cut of your hair, whether long, short, or medium and also whether you would like to have your hair layers, bangs or no bangs, shorter in the front or the back, and many other options that are available to you. There are many good resources for choosing a new hair design in magazines and books available at most hairdressers, beauty stores and drug stores.

Another part of design is the color of your hair. You may choose highlights, which are usually lighter over a darker under color, or highlights in addition to low lights, which will have many different colors throughout your hair giving it more definition. Some may choose to have two entirely different colors, such as a very light blonde on top of a dark color such as black, which can be very original and a way to truly define yourself and your hair.

Basic hair styling and hair design can set you apart from the crowd or make you one of the many. Spend time on your hair each day, take time to pick out your styles and designs, and be proud of your time spent. - 16887

They preach things like eating more frequent smaller meals per day and increasing your water intake. This will keep your metabolism burning and keep you from getting dehydrated. A slow metabolism and a dehydrated body is a recipe for a difficult weight loss diet.

Why You Should Get a Round Trampoline

By Matt McLaughlin

If the weather is nice you can find my children outside bouncing on the round trampoline that we bought approximately 12 months ago. A trampoline gives kids of all ages hours of fun. You get exercise and don't even realize it because we are caught up having so much fun. Our kids now do not have to be told to go outside, they beg.

Round trampolines come in all sizes from 3 feet in diameter up to 16 feet. Depending on your child's age and what kind of function you would like your trampoline to serve plays an important part of what size of trampoline you should invest in. If you just want a functional trampoline for your child to jump up and down on to get out some energy then a smaller trampoline would be a great way to start out on, but if you want something catered to more of the older age child then a larger trampoline would be a wise investment.

We invested in a 12 foot in diameter round trampoline for our 5 kids from ages 2, 8, 9, 13 and 17 and I wish I could tell you in a year's time how many hours they have spent on the trampoline. It has helped with more time spent together down to our children being exhausted when it comes to bedtime. They spend hours out on the trampoline jumping, flipping and bouncing around with each other.

All kinds of people use trampolines besides children; athletes, gymnasts and cheerleaders use them for training purposes. Kids and adults of all ages use them just for fun and exercise.

There are some safety precautions that come with owning a trampoline. The first thing you need to make sure is that your trampoline is on level ground and if you have younger children it would be a wise investment to purchase an enclosure for your trampoline. The enclosure provides some safety for your children which allow them to stay inside the trampoline while jumping around having fun.

Trampolines are affordable and the investment will pay for itself in time. We have had ours for almost a year now and sending our kids outside then watching them wore out when it comes to bedtime is worth it. When the kids are full of energy you can send them outside and tell them to jump around and then the energy falls out of them. Trampolines are a wise investment and I recommend everyone that has kids to have one. - 16887

UFC 92 Flashback: Mir Scores Knockout Win Over 'Big Nog'

By Ross Everett

Two titles changed hands at UFC 92, with Rashad Evans defeating Forrest Griffin by TKO to win the light heavyweight title and Frank Mir knocking out Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira to claim the UFC interim heavyweight title. The event had been dubbed The Ultimate 2008 and every one of the main cards six matches ended via TKO.

While nominally taking subordinate status to the Evans/Griffin main event the most shocking result by far was Frank Mirs second round TKO stoppage of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Nogueira was the overwhelming favorite coming into the fight and had never been stopped inside the distance during a career where hed faced the best of the best: Fedor Emelianenko (three times), Josh Barnett (twice), Semmy Schilt and Mirko Cro Cop among many others. In the matchup to fill the Interim UFC title vacated by Randy Couture, Nogueira had absorbed a punching barrage from Tim Sylvia before gaining a submission victory.

Mir, meanwhile, had been on the verge of a full time move to the broadcast booth before his victory over WWE superstar turned MMA fighter Brock Lesnar. The conventional wisdom concerning Mir was that hed never fully recovered from a serious motorcycle accident in 2004 and that he was essentially a shot fighter physically, emotionally and psychologically.

Always a quick witted and highly cerebral fighter, Mir had been very impressive with his commentary work on WEC broadcasts. A highly respected BJJ black belt, his knowledge of submission technique was legendary but in his broadcast role also displayed not only tremendous poise behind the mic but the sort of innate ability to see the fight several moves ahead of the competitors"the same ability displayed by the legendary Bas Rutten in his broadcasting work. When the fight against Brock Lesnar was signed, the perception among most fans was that Mir was a high profile setup for the former WWE champ"a big name on the downside of his career that would be physically overwhelmed by the strength and athleticism of his opponent. The expectation was that after a one-sided loss to Lesnar that Mir would transition into the next phase of his career as a broadcaster.

For the first minute of the fight, it looked like the above scenario was going to play out"Lesnar manhandled Mir from the opening horn, taking him down and landing punishing hammer fists on the ground. That was rendered irrelevant, however, when Lesnar made a rookie mistake and dangled his leg in easy reach of the BJJ blackbelt. Mir locked in a deep knee bar and Lesnar was forced to tap.

There would be no such reprieve against Nogueira, according to many pundits, as he was too experienced and too good of a BJJ player in his own right to give Mir any such opportunities for a fluke submission. Mir entered the UFC 92 fight as a +305 wagering underdog, meaning that oddsmakers and the betting public agreed that he had little chance to prevail in this matchup against a highly experienced veteran that had never been stopped inside the distance.

The fight was certainly one-sided, but it was Mir who was in control throughout. From the opening horn he demonstrated surprisingly sharp striking skills, and knocked Nogueira down twice in the first round.

After a low kick attempt by Nogueira, Mirs counter tagged his opponent and he followed up with a big right hook that sent the Brazilian crashing to the canvas. Herb Dean jumped in to stop the fight almost immediately, awarding Mir an improbable TKO victory at 1:54 seconds of round #2.

In the light heavyweight championship match, Forrest Griffin got off to a good start in his title defense by using his superior height and reach and an impressive array of kicks to keep Rashad Evans just out of range for two full rounds. That changed dramatically in the third, as a flash knockdown by the challenger gave him the opening he needed to mount Griffin and unleash a brutal ground and pound assault.

The most highly anticipated match on the undercard also featured a lopsided TKO finish as Quinton Rampage Jackson dominated Wanderlei Silva in the third fight between the two men. - 16887

Sanyo Xacti Camcorder: The Sanyo VPC-E2 Review

By Ed J Price

Does anyone remember those classic documentary television programs of the 1970s? When they would venture underwater, some of the film footage was odd to say the least. The reason for this is they were limited to using old 16mm film cameras that were encased in plastic bubbles. Mercifully, we have come a long way and now there is the Sanyo VPC-E2.

This Sanyo Xacti camcorder is one of the most stunning underwater camcorders in the electronics field. It is the perfect underwater digital camcorder for the active and sports minded individual. Those that enjoy venturing down into the deep blue sea will certainly find this particular camera to be the perfect dive camera for recording all the sights that the ocean has to offer.

Other Important Features

What makes the Sanyo Xacti camcorder such an excellent camera? Really, there are scores of features that allow this particular model to shine above others in the field. The Sanyo VPC-E2 is able to record video roughly 5 feet below the surface although some have had excellent results going even deeper. The camera is limited however, to 30 minutes of video recording so one needs to keep this in mind when diving. The Sanyo VPC-E2 can take multitudes of still frame photographs which can certainly be performed for longer than the aforementioned 30 minutes.

Pros and Cons

Of course, this camcorder is completely waterproof and comes with a 5x optical zoom. This means you do not always have to get up close and personal with your subject matter. Sometimes, that can be a good thing! The Sanyo Xacti camcorder also comes with a 2.5 inch LCD display that is absolutely crystal clear. This is also a very lightweight camera that is perfect for those who do not want to lug a heavy camera on their adventures. The camera is easy to use and merely involves following what is on the onscreen display and hitting the record function. However, there have been a few consumer concerns regarding the visual display.

Namely, consumers have been a little more than concerned with the camera's electronic image stabilization. The reason for this is that the image is sometimes cropped which leads to some complaints about the captured image being less than what one would prefer to see. Similarly, there are some slight complaints in regards to the audio of the camera. It is not as sharp or as clear as some would prefer. Granted, despite some of the flaws present with the camera, it is still an excellent device that has many positive benefits despite the minor flaws.

The price of this Sanyo Xacti camcorder is a fair one as well. At under $200, this is quite affordable for those who need a basic underwater camcorder that can provide uncomplicated shooting with a minimal of effort. That alone makes this the perfect camcorder for those who enjoy shooting. Whether you want to take underwater video or still photos, the Sanyo VPC-E2 is an excellent device. It delivers on all its expectations in a simple to use and affordable package. Really, could you ask for a better deal? - 16887

The foot pocket is so also well designed and it will add to the comfort of wearing fins significantly. A comfortable fit in your foot pocket is very important and these particular fins foot pocket is fairly deep and can be worn by a variety of foot shapes and sizes.

Downside

One negative associated with these scuba fins can be the price. Yes, these fins cost over $200 which is far more than the price of many other diving fins on the market. Some may prefer to pay the average price on a decent pair of fins, but when you pay for average you may only end up with average performance. If you want a solid performance out of the fins you are purchasing, you will need to pay extra for it. That is just the way the scuba world works!

In Conclusion

These fins are generally beneficial for the advanced diver. That is why such unique design has been utilized to craft these particular scuba fins. Beginners may be a little irked that a starter kit version of these fins has not been produced but that is just the way things are at the moment. The bottom line here is that if you are a top diver, you will definitely want to purchase Cressi-Sub Gara Professional Fins as they are among the best scuba fins on the market...bar none. - 16887

There are parts of the housing unit that are called O Rings and they are the bits that ensure the camera remains waterproofed. It is essential that you check the O Rings regularly for any signs of dirt, sand or dust.
