TROPIC THUNDER: Filled with great actors the genre of the film is a spoof on Vietnam war movies. To get better results from his crew to create a quality war film, the seemingly bold director into the middle of nowhere, leaving them to fend for themselves. The plan is to overwhelm them into producing a war classic that will be recorded on hidden cameras. Unbelievably, as the director walks over a land mine and is blown apart, the actors are now truly on there own and they start acting, thinking it's a big set, but the bullets flying are actually real. Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Tom Cruise star.

ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO: Rent is over due and Zack and Miri, roomies who have been friends since grade school, are desperate to make some money. What's their solution? Oh, that?s easy, make a porno. As one can expect this seems like a good recipe for a great comedy.

Is this the Beginning of a New York Bike Week?

We all know that when the first settlers came to America they where following a dream! What most do not know is that many of those dreams where inspired by paintings of the Catskill Mountains. At the beginning of this country's history artists where mesmerized by the beauty of these mountains and painted many pictures of them. These pictures where sent and sold all over the world and they had a huge part in creating what later became know as the American dream.

Fast forward a couple Hundred years to September 10th through the 14th 2008 and now what draws hundreds of American Bikers every year to the Catskill Mountains is the Blackthorne Resort in East Durham and the Catskill Mountain Thunder Motorcycle Rally. This event which is a weekend get away for some and a week long party for others has just about everything a biker dreams of. Even though the Blackthorne Resorts grounds are large, they do fill up fast and Bikers reserve there Cabins, RV sites or Camp sites up to a year in advance just to make sure there is room for them on the grounds. (There are plenty of other resorts in the area who welcome the Biker overflow from the Blackthorne) Me and my Brother Mopar Tom arrived on Thursday Night and the first thing We did was to check out what seemed like a million vendors, Who where selling every thing from Motorcycle stickers to Custom Motorcycles.Then of course it was time to grab some drinks. First drink was at the Tikki Bar by the large in ground pool. The Second was at the Blackthorne's on premise full service bar. Not wanting to over do it on my first night there (I would save that for my second night) I called it an early night at around 2am and was off to get some sleep.

On Friday the fuse was lit and the weekend festivities got into full swing. I spent the day wandering around the Blackthorne checking ever thing out drinking and partying with Hundreds of new and old friends. As the sun went down and the Night began things just got better! I watched Bikers take their Motorcycles up in the air and do Ariel Burn outs as I listened to the Music of Molly Hatchet LIVE !

The Nights at Blackthorne Run late and the Mornings come early! Some Choose to start their days off riding around the incredible Catskill Mountains, either in a group on a guided tour or by themselves with no destination at all. The roads in the Catskills go on forever and even after many years of riding them each trip still offers something new ! My favorite spot to ride to has been for many years Nicks Waterfall House in Gilboa, In my opinion no ride threw the Catskills is Complete with out a burger and a beer at Nicks!

Others who don't wake till the afternoon can spend their day's at the Blackthorne checking out the vendors buying new Biker gear, Watching Rhett Rotten and his amazing vintage Wall of Death Motorcycle stunt show, Looking at the art work of Ron Finch, Placing their votes for their favorites in the Bike show, participating in the Bike games or enjoying a list of many other wickedly fun Biker activities. Saturday Night again offered Bikers more then they could handle plus Hot Female Spaghetti Wrestling, Live Ultimate Fighting bouts, Lots more live music and plenty of late night partying. On Sunday some Bikers headed home while others hung around for another day of fun including a pig roast!

I have been a biker all my life and to this day the bond of Brotherhood that is shared by bikers still amazes me. I'm not sure if the fact that the Blackthorne is a family resort every other week of the year has anything to do with it, But I found the feeling of Brotherhood and Family to be very strong at this event. When I can hangout and party with Bikers I have just met and feel like I have known them for Twenty years, It strongly reinforces all the reasons I love being a Biker!

I have left out many great things about the Blackthorne and its Catskill Mountain Thunder Motorcycle Rally, The reason for this is because if you missed this event you do not deserve to know all its secrets until you have attended it for yourself !!! 2. I won't eat pizza, soda, cookies or cake. This will help me stick to my diet plan of 5 balanced meals per day.

3. I want to achieve my goals of eating a lean protein and vegetables 5 meals a day. I will make healthy choices when choosing my meal ingredients.

The first goal is far to vague and the words whenever possible are not definite. The second goal wont work because according to Tom, your brain cant process deletion or words like wont or avoid and will simply interpret goal #2 as I eat pizza, Mexican food Finally, goal #3 may not be that effective because its set in the future. Tom says goals need to be set in the present or even as if they've already been accomplished.

An effective way to write the above goal: I have achieved the body of my dreams and am proud of attaining a lean 10% body fat and wash board abs. I have achieved this by eating 5 meals per day consisting of a lean protein like fish or chicken and dark green vegetables like broccoli or spinach.

This goal is properly written because it's specific, written with emotion, and written as if you've already been successful in attaining the body of your dreams. This goal will help your brain accept the new dietary and exercise behaviors and soon see them as habits that come naturally. Soon your mind will see you as the lean and fit individual that you're striving to become not the out of shape one that you're leaving behind. My friend forced me to go to one.

She had a knack for plants, spouting off random names here and there while pointing what genus and species this one was over the other. It was crazy, if not for the fact there were others like her in the same grounds.

A flower festival is a fair for horticulturists and either a dream or a nightmare for botanists. Contrary to popular belief, it's not all about flowers. There are ferns too, and shrubbery, some topiary here and there, and a few garden ornaments like a fountain or a flamingo. The Japanese bamboo fountain in our backyard; yep, I bought it at the same flower fair.

There were lots of plants, mostly orchids. The variety that grows in rotting wood, driftwood, pots and eggshells. I chanced upon some carnivorous plants, which were locally from the mountain. They must have carried it along with the orchids. There was this nice pitcher plant that had a nice red and green toning on it. I so wanted one for the flies hanging out in the corner of my yard.

That afternoon, there was a seminar regarding proper plant care and advanced techniques for ornamental plants. They even had a bonsai-trimming demo which was rather uneventful. A random bird swooped downwards, surprising the person on stage. The shears had cut through the dwarf tree. I was surprised at the collective gasp from everyone around me. Felt like the odd man out not to react at the graveness of the situation.

We left around six o'clock. Me, with the bamboo fountain in a basket on one hand, and the pitcher plant tucked securely in my arm. She didn't even buy one for herself. Ironic.

Most golfers who are trying to fix their swing wonder how long it's going to take. In the next sections, I show you some different approaches you can take. As you read them, it will be up to you to figure out the best approach.

Swing Fix 1 - Buy New Clubs

At one time or another, most golfers have thought the buying new clubs was going to instantly change their game. Buying new club is not to be totally discounted because many people are not playing with the correct equipment for their swing, or they haven't had their clubs fitted. What you should do, is find an experienced clubfitter and have your clubs fitted and your swing checked as soon as you can.

Buying new clubs can fix your swing in a way you may not realize. New clubs give you a different feeling from your old clubs. When you hit shot with them, you aren't thinking about your swing because they feel so different. This different feeling clears your mind but not for long. Use your new clubs for a couple of weeks and they won't feel all that different so you go right back to thinking about your swing. Fishing From the Fort Desoto Piers

Fort Desoto Park, located in Saint Pete Florida has been known as one of the best parks there are in the United States. I will be going over the fishing that can be done there, by either boat or casting a line off of one of the fishing piers that are there.

There are several boat ramps throughout the park, so if you want to launch a boat and do some snook fishing by some mangroves you can do that easily. There are also many little islands around the park that are lurking with many species of saltwater fish to be caught.

For those of you that do not have access to a boat there is still great fishing that can be done at the park. Two of my favorite spots to fish are the Fort Desoto fishing piers, which are open all year, both day and night, and you can walk away with a cooler full of fish on a good day.

The Gulf Pier is my favorite pier to fish during the day, and I think a lot of people can agree with me because it is always packed with fishermen from the start to the end of the pier. If you are there during the day you will be able to purchase live bait and fishing tackle from the bait and tackle shop that is there.

Some of the fish you can expect to catch while fishing off the Gulf Pier are snapper, grouper, sharks, sting rays and many other types of fish. If you go to the Gulf Pier during the day, you will most likely get a chance to see some dolphins swimming, just be careful and try not to hook up with one.

During the day the Bay Pier is used for tour boats often, although you can still fish from the pier if you wish, and plenty of people do. The Bay pier is a little smaller than the Gulf Pier, but in my opinion will offer just as much fish as the Gulf Pier does.

The Bay Pier also has a bait and tackle shop that is just a little bit smaller than the Gulfs shop. If the bait shop is closed and you are there to do some night fishing there is a vending machine there for bait, you can get bait like frozen squid from it which is pretty cool.

Both piers are well lit up at night so you can see what you are doing. The lights also aid in attracting fish, especially by the Bay Pier at night time. The piers are less than a mile apart, and are located at the most south part of Fort Desoto Park. - 16887

We look upon skydiving as a fun sport nowadays, but it all began as a military solution to a problem. If you read your history of skydiving, you will see many of the important milestones of the sport, but it all started in the army.

During World War II, the military had to deploy troops into inland areas to fight the enemy, sometimes even behind enemy lines. Needless to say, they could not just march up to the battle lines, they had to be put in some other way.

Paratroopers were dropped onto the ground from airplanes and this is the beginning of skydiving as a sport. Even though those initial divers did not have the equipment we have today to make the sport safer, many of these ex army guys decided they liked the experience well enough to continue it as a sport after their army duty was done.

As a matter of fact, there have been many teams of skydivers made up of former paratroopers who became more and more expert at this skill, and eventually joined competitions and added acrobatics in the sky to their jumps.

The Red Devils are one such team that became very famous through the years. They started in 1964 and have continually been skydiving and performing aerial feats at air shows throughout the world. The crowds just love their formations and other daredevil feats.

One of the things that makes them so good is the training they have had in the army. They are used to encountering danger, they are used to working as a close knit team, and they are used to each others communication style.

All of these qualities help on a skydiving team, since many times you have no verbal communication whatsoever, and team work can mean the difference between life and death. Many army skydiving teams are still in the army and put on shows voluntarily in their spare time.

In addition, because of the expertise they have developed in this sport, a lot of ex army paratroopers have made a career out of it and started skydive schools and centers, and even offer skydiving simulators as part of their curriculum. Since they learned from the best, they are best able to transfer that knowledge to their students. These schools are very successful, in part because of such a reputation. Most people feel much more confident learning from a paratrooper who has been doing it in the military for years.

This movie is based on the best selling book that tells how the M.I.T. teams took it to the casinos.

10,000 B.C.: This cinematic production sends us back 1,000's of years. When a warlike tribe storm the Yaghai people, they ride off with some of the people, including the lovely Evolet. A strong young hunter, D'Leh, who is in love with her, leads a group of hunters to pursue the warlords, and rescue Evolet and the others.

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS: It was a wild night in Las Vegas. Barely remembering what had happened, Jack and Joy wake up to discover that they are married.
