Bowling It's More Than a Game

By Brian Anderson

Why look like everybody else? Why not stick out on the bowling lane, command notice not only to your playing, but right down to the fashion of ball you choose to play with?

Clear bowling balls simply mesmerize, attracting attention for their sheer individual look that's unlike any other ball on the lane. Imagine a shiny ball as clear as water, imbedded in the center with your favorite design of a rose, a skull or favorite sports team.

By using a clear bowling ball, a bowler can speak a lot about themselves, their interests, their personality and fashion. Whether you want the roughness of an imbedded skull on the lane, or the imagination of a pig to bring an element of fun to your game, a clear ball gives that particular touch.

They not only have a nice look but are functional as well. To material used makes the ball harder giving the ball less friction as it moves down the lane. This means that it will have less movement, giving you the opportunity to have more control over the ball when trying to hit a particular pin. All eyes will be on you when you knock down that last pin to win the game. They are also perfect for dry oily spots.

Usually, a clear ball contains reactive resin, or perhaps a plastic or polyester body, depending on the brand. They are ideal for spare balls. With limited hooking potential, they are designed to be thrown straight and steady.

They are not ideal for use throughout the game, as the lack of core on the ball can have serious affects on its performance. However, their unique appeal is great for pulling out at the right moment of the game, attracting attention and adding an element of fun.

The individual options are endless. Whatever interest or side of your personality you care to portray is possible. It's a matter of weighing practicality and style. Sometimes you need the performance of the ball. Sometimes the image of the ball is performance enough.

When you feel the need to stand out from the rest of the crowd. Using a clear ball can add that element of the game that your might be looking for. - 16887
