Snowboarder With His Used Snowboard on a Winter Mountainside

By Jason Davis

Expert, extreme snowboarder Jason Davis was looking for extreme adventure when he tried to bring his used snowboard on a winter mountainside and got some slides and spins all the way down the bottom.

Like a real expert, extreme snowboarder, Jason started with some breathtaking slides. He first tried to do Backside Lipslide. He started by approaching the rail then later turned his used snowboard 90 degrees to be in frontside position. Then he put some weight on his front leg while he straightened his back leg and kept his base flat. Finally, he made his slide and ended at the bottom of the mountainside with lead shoulder dropped. What a great slide that was!

Then the next one he tried to do was the Boardslide into Switch Frontboard. He made it to ride straight at the rail with a bit more speed than just having a boardslide. On half way, he just popped up and got 180 rotation and later went all the way switch stance. Most probably, to master those slide exhibitions, he might have spent a lot of time with his used snowboard.

After enjoying having those slides, Jason was not yet much exhausted and still wanted to the enjoy winterly atmosphere of the mountainside so tried to do next a spin with his used yet very durable snowboard. He tried doing the Backside 540 which is one of the hardest spin tricks. He first set himself up by approaching the lip of the jump as if he was carving on the edge of his toe with just a little force. Then placed and kept a weight on his toes and prepared upper body to start off the spin.

It was so thrilling when his board left the lip and he popped off his toes and started the rotation with his head and shoulders. Then have his knees tucked to his chest as he prepared himself to a one full revolution. In tucked knees, he seemed to be really determined to have a great, extreme slide down. Well, he actually did. He then have one and a quarter spins (450 degrees) then released his grab while he kept his knees bent a bit. Then after few seconds, there he was, with screams of joy, landed flat based on both feet. - 16887
