For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. These days you can stay at home and get movies from a movie download site. Here are some examples of movies you can acquire through a movie download site.

Scandal at Scourie: Lukewarm Garson-Pigeon entry set in Canada, engaging Lutheran couple who stun society while they plan to adopt a Catholic kid. Cast includes Greer Garson, Walter Pigeon, Donna Corcoran, Agnes Moore-head, and Arthur Guards. (124 minutes, 1957)

Alien Thunder: Mountie Sutherland pursues an Indian implicated of a sergeant's kill in this handsome although monotonous action flick. Cast includes Donald Sutherland, Kevin McCarthy, Chief Dan George, Jean Duceppe, Jack Creely, and Francine Racette. (90 minutes, 1973)

Cry Wolf: Adventure-mystery where kids play agame to scare their classmates by concoting a serial killer online. When the crimes they make up actually start happenning the real mystery emerges. Cast includes Barbara Stanwick, Errol Flynn, Geraldine Brooks, Richard Basehart, and Jerome Cowan. (83 minutes, 1947)

Seven Waves Away: The luxury liner has gone down. Now the ship's captain finds himself trying to lead a group of survivors, on a crowded lifeboat, to safety. Anxious, stimulating research of individuals quarreling to thrive when forced to deal with a life threatening situation. Tyrone Power, Mai Zetterling, Lloyd Nolan, Stephen Boyd, Moira Lister, are the key cast members. Richard Sale directs (l957 Drama)

Rookie Of The Year: Little league pitcher Henry Rowengartner breaks his arm during a game. Miraculously, when his arm heals he can now throw the ball over 100 MPH. When the general manager of the lowly Chicago Cubs spots Henry throwing this fast, it's off to the major leagues.

Deep Crimson: Spectacularly distressing and upsetting real-life crime tale, based on the identical Lonely Hearts" case that empowered The Honeymoon Killers, in regards to the murderous love event between a fat nurse and a gigolo who swindle wealthy widows in 1940s Mexico. Incredibly well performed and prompted research of the banality of the sinister. Bundles a wallop, and holds no punches in its horrible portrayal of the couple's vicious descent into madness. Cast includes Jerzy Skolimowski, Jane Asher, John Moulder-Brown, Diana Dors, and Michael Vogler. (114 minutes, 1996)

The Ploughman's Lunch: Difficult, skeptical condemnation of British behaviors, ethics and affairs of state, focusing on the exercises of completely selfish stereo journalist Pryce and others throughout the Falklands battle. The film is relatively perceptive, within the restraints of its outlook. Cast includes Jonathan Pryce, Tim Curry, Rosemary Harris, Blunt Finlay, and Charlie Dore. (100 minutes, 1983)

Ruby: Difficult plot line has a dead gangster's soul entering the body of a deaf-mute gal, sending her on a killing spree at drive-in show which specializes in terror films. Cast includes Reaper Laurie, Stuart Whitman, Roger Davis, Janit Baldwin, Crystin Sinclaire, and Paul Kent. (84 minutes, 1977)

Slave Ship: 92 Slave Ship is an exciting story of a slave transport mutiny with an acclaimed author critically wounded while on safari in Africa, trying to see if he discovered some meaning to his past. The film is based on a Hemingway tale. Cast includes Warner Baxter, Wallace Beery, Elizabeth Allan, Mickey Rooney, George Sanders, and Jane Darwell. (92 minutes, 1937)
