The Best Diets Revealed

By Aaron McLain

Eni-meni-mini-mo, where did all the best diets go? This may sound ridiculous, but the truth of the matter is, that is exactly what you will be faced with when searching for a diet thats right for you. With so many to choose from, how are you suppose to find the best?

This articles focus is to empower you with the knowledge you need to decipher between which diets are fake and which diets will get you to where you want to be. So let the endless see of diets sit for awhile while you learn the ins and outs of what makes for a great diet that really works.

When you finally open your eyes and see that there are two types of diets you will be able to discover a diet thats got your best interests at heart. There are diets that promote unhealthy weight loss and there are diets that promote health with weight loss as a natural by product.

Unhealthy diets focus on abnormal ways to alter your bodies chemistry to produce weight loss. They preach starving the body of vital nutrients which usually leads to gaining all the weight back and leaving the body worse off than it was before.

Now that Ive thrown out there what the best diets dont preach, lets take a look at what they do say. First, all good diets will be built on a solid set of healthy rules. They preach things like eating more frequent smaller meals per day and increasing your water intake. This will keep your metabolism burning and keep you from getting dehydrated. A slow metabolism and a dehydrated body is a recipe for a difficult weight loss diet.

Another thing that the best diets will tell you is that you have to get control of any unhealthy eating habits. Im willing to bet my right arm that your added flesh was the result of an eating habit run wild. By teaching you how to gain control of your eating and your sanity for that matter, the best diets help you to win the battle of the bulge.

Finally, the best diets preach balance. Not balance like standing on your tippy toes and bending like a pretzel, but balance as in a balance combination of water, protein, fats, and carbohydrates. Each of these is vitally important for the body to function at its best and play important rolls in the breaking down of body fat.

Bottom line, the best diets should focus on helping your body rather than making it work harder. A good diet helps your bodily functions without starving it of fats, carbs, or proteins. It hydrates the body with plenty of water and preaches good habits like regular exercise and small frequent meals. And as with anything that is health related, seek the advice of your doctor before diving in head first. - 16887
