Fly Fishing Combo Sets

By Mitchel Dajon

As a novice to fly fishing you can do no better than buy a combo as you will ensure that your rod and reel are a perfect match. You do not have to be worried about balancing the reel and rod. These will be a great combination for your fishing days.

There are different combos for the type of fishing you are planning to do from rivers, streams, from a boat or from a river bank. You obviuosly need to make the decision as to where you are going to fish and then look at the options.

You will find combo rod and reel in all three types. Here are some recommend combos that will be great for the beginning or expert angler.

Combo 1 - Rod and Reel Spinning.

The spining reels of today are constructed to be used with light and heavy fish. When you cast, the heaviness of your bait and weight is what throws the line forward.

Combo 2 - Casting Rod and Reel.

Experienced anglers invariable go for the bait casting reel(also known as level wind). This due to getting a more precise casting. Everyone has there own preference.

Combo 3 - Spin Casting Combos

A mixture of cast and spinning reels utilising a thumb button for casting. Spool stays locked until it is released.

The ultimate beginner choice. Reliable and very easy for casting with very little in the way of whistles or bells. Very easy to use making them a great option.

If it's good value you're after then a fly fishing combo is for you. You will pay more for better quality and additional features but a combo will last you a long time. - 16887
