Jumping Exercises

Jumping is one of the most important parts of most sports. The higher you can jump the better you will be at some sports.

People can teach their muscles to fire more efficiently and therefore increase their vertical leap.

The tricky part is that jump training is completely different than traditional strength training. Simply training your legs like a bodybuilder in the gym will not result in increased explosiveness.

The jump training you need to increase your jump height will involve both leg strengthening and leg speed.

Power is a combination of speed and strength. You have to train both aspects in order to see the results that you desire.

Leg strength is usually already achieved by most people that work their legs out regularly The hard part is getting the speed in the legs and know how to go about it.

Speed is taught to the legs by doing what are called plyometrics or jumping exercises. - 16887
