Knowing Your Opponent Is A Key On Playing Poker

The basic element of being a good player are reliable strategies, however doing the same strategies over and over again on all your opponents is not good. You need to make adjustments to stay on the game.

Conforming your strategies with your rivals is the basis for your success as well you need to analyze each situation or game in advance. If you're willing to adjust your core strategy will make you discover your strengths and use it to take advantage of your opponents weaknesses.

Every opponent you encounter is different. Some play hands even if they have a feeble card, some make bluffs and some are serious players. You just need to adjust the way you played the game in accordance with your opponents way of thinking and the present situation.

Here are some things that you should do so that you can tailor your basic plans in accordance to the other players.

Always analyze your opponents actions. Each of their action should be load into your memory. Remember the saying, A picture is worth a thousand words? Well, your rival's actions in playing poker is worth more than that.

Know your opponents' motives. We all made decisions based on reason even in playing poker. Your job is to know the reasons behind the decisions of your opponents. Even if its foolish in your perspective. Understanding the other players' motives will give you a good benefit in your future games.

Recognize your opponent's thoughts. You need to know what they're thinking. What will you do, if you are in their shoes? If you figure out the way their thoughts run you can take this as a good advantage over them as the game progresses.

Doing all this is not easy but knowing your rivals weaknesses will give you a chance to be a step ahead of them all the time. Always pay attention to your opponents. Each of them have their own weaknesses, it is your job to exploit those weakness in order to win the game. - 16887
