All About My Mother - While a lady loses her child, she returns to Barcelona, renews a concealed relationship with a transvestite friend, who inadvertently the youngster's father. Pedro Almodovar directed this movie and it is his most moving motion picture to date-more earnest than most, although not without his trademark humor and differentiated by outstanding behaviors all around. Cast includes Cecilia Roth, Marisa Paredes, Penelope Cruz, Antonia San Juan, Candela Pena, and Eloy Azorin. (101 minutes, 1999)

Rent-a-Kid - While the person in charge of an orphanage takes a holiday, dad Nielsen takes over with a strategy to make cash by renting out kids. While unsurprising, this silly premise is amazingly successful. Finally 3 kids are rented by a trendy '90s couple thinking about adopting. A respectable family motion picture. Cast includes Leslie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, Matt McCoy, Sherry Miller, and Amos Crawley. (89 minutes, 1995)

Only You - Pleasant confection in reference to a youthful girl who invests her entire life looking for her perfect mate whose name was summoned up on a Ouija board. Cast includes Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey, Jr., Bonnie Seek, Joaquim De Almeida, Fisher Stevens, and Phyllis Newman. (108 minutes, 1994)

Onionhead - A untidy film with Griffith joining the Coast Guard in pre WW2 and becoming a ships chef. The flick attempts to be a comedy, a romance, and a drama at the same time and succeeds at none. Cast includes Andy Griffith, Felicia Farr, Walter Matthau, Erin O'Brien, Joe Mantell, Ray Danton, James Gregory, Joey Bishop, Roscoe Karns, Claude Akins, Peter Brown, and Tige Andrews. The Leading Man - British backstage show romance in regards to an American film superstar who seduces a playwright's unhappy spouse and his leading-woman mistress. When it might not make up its mind whether it's a comedy tirade or a light thriller, it is still very humorous stuff. Bon Jovi is excellent as the brash, dishonorable Yankee, and Galiena and Newton are enticing as the females trapped in his web. The Bourne Ultimatum - In the third film of the series, Jason Bourne is still being hunted by those who had educated him into the greatest assassin that he is. Having lost his memory when almost being killed, Bourne is retracing his past to try to recognize who he was, and why everyone wants him dead. All his skills are put to the test, as the C.I.A. is unremitting in its effort to have him eliminated. Starring Matt Damon and Julia Stiles.

The All-American Boy - Disorderly drama in reference to Olympic hopeful Voight's attempt to be a triumphant boxer; beautiful locations of northern California, but that is all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes, 1989)

Borderline - Unusual thriller comedy in which Los Angeles cop Trevor tries to assemble proof contrary to cunning drug smuggler Burr when mixing with hard gentleman MacMurray in Mexico. Starts out favorably, although eventually slows down in absurdity. Burr makes a articulate scoundrel.The cast includes Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, and Roy Roberts. (88 minutes, 1950)
