Mexico Vacations Got Golf ?

By Mario Rodriguez

Many people, including celebrities, are choosing Mexico as a vacation spot. Today, even golfers have caught on the craze. Indeed, Mexico is a beautiful place to lounge and relax; and playing golf is yet another way to relax for many people.

Mexico occupies around 760, 000 square miles, and to the north is just United States, making this place an ideal vacation spot for many Americans who want to get out of their country, yet who do not want to venture too far.

Although Mexico is a place rich in history, today, it is a very modern country that offers practically everything to every visitor.

To a golf enthusiast however, Mexico's sun and warm skies, its temperature of 70 to 80 degrees all throughout the year make it the ideal golf getaway. There are even golf courses, which were built to adapt to its natural surroundings, giving you a great place to play golf, and at the same time retaining that authentic environment in Mexico.

Imagine playing golf with breathtaking views as the backdrop. From Cabo San Lucas to Golf Tangolunda, Mexico is every golf player's dream place-to-be.

Located in the Baja, Los Cabos consists of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. It is always sunny and evenings are cool, making it the perfect place for sports. The two "Cabos" are different; the former is known for the nightlife, while the latter offers an old-world charm. These two have become the center of the golfing community.

Want a spectacular view of the ocean? Then the San Jose Golf Course, a nine-hole course, is perfect for you. There is also the Jack Nicklaus Signature course, which complements the rustic nature.

Many people's favorite is the Ocean Course, which has been one of the "Top 100 Courses in the WORLD," a list by Golf Magazine. Whichever type you prefer, surely, you will find your perfect Mexico golf vacation. - 16887
