By Rick Chavez

Trading lives with another is always a fun and unique conception for a story of a movie. Check out these three videos about mistaken, exchanged or just erroneous identities. Be ready to laugh as you see the characters finally empathize with another.

In 1987, Dudley Moore and Kirk Cameron portrayed father and son who switched places in the motion picture "Like Father, Like Son". The father accidentally sprinkles a mysterious Indian potion into his bloody Mary and immediately he and his son have traded identities. Cast also includes Margaret Colin, Catherine Hicks, Patrick O'Neal and Sean Astin.

Dudley Moore is a heart surgeon who is so engrossed in his own life and his own occupation that he neglects to notice his son's problems with school and social activities. The identity crisis of course, leads to odd difficulties at school and work but also helps both father and son see the perspective of the other.

And another similar motion picture from 2003, "Freaky Friday" involves a mom and her 15-year old daughter. The daughter cannot comprehend why her mother doesn't support her musical dreams and the mom can't comprehend why the daughter is not more encouraging to her forthcoming nuptials.

A fortune cookie on a Thursday night brings about a Friday where they switch identities and learn to have consideration for the other. But they have to find a way to swap back before the marriage ceremony on Saturday. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as mother and daughter and Mark Harmon as the mother's fianc.

And next a movie about an individual pretending to have a different identity, "Mrs. Doubtfire" is about a free spirited husband and father who gets a divorce from his wife after fourteen years. He can't abide the thought of being away from his kids so he dresses up as a British nanny and his ex-wife hires him.

Robin Williams stars as the dad and of course, Mrs. Doubtfire, Sally Fields is the mom and Lisa Jakob, Matthew Lawrence and Mara Wilson play the children. Mrs. Doubtfire is a excellent family motion picture from 1993 that should not be forgotten.

And of course, there may be more but there you have three suggestions for some amusing and unforgettable movies based upon the storyline of a erroneous identity. Have fun! - 16887
