Types Of Swimming Pool Liners

By Rachel Head

If you have a swimming pool then without doubt you want to be swimming in it rather than worrying about the liner. For this reason it is vital that you get the swimming pool liner sorted out as soon as possible so that you can get on with the serious business of having fun swimming!

The first type of liner that I'll mention is the beaded liner. These usually work by fixing onto a rail that goes around the edge of the pool, keeping the liner in place.

Your pool may use a different kind of liner called a beaded liner which fix onto the side of the pool using a tool called a J-hook. If you don't know how to fit it you should hire a professional to do so.

Another type of liner is one that is called an overlap liner. These fold over the side of the swimming pool to hold themselves in place.

Some other types of swimming pool liner exist, although we won't go into detail here. If you need them for your pool you should take a look round your local swimming pool store.

It's vital to remember that before you buy a liner you should check that it actually fits your pool, as not all liners fit all pools. Buying the wrong one can be a big waste of time and money, so make sure you get it right the first time to avoid disappointment.

If you don't know how to fit the liner then it is really important to hire someone who does. in the end it is only going to waste your money and time if you try and fit the liner yourself and get it wrong, so don't take that chance.

It is much better to get the liner fitted well the first time around so you can get on with enjoying your pool without worrying about it! Paying a little extra to get it fitted well is always a good idea - just make sure you hire someone with a good reputation. - 16887
